Message from the CEO
In the past, many world-renowned companies such as Honda, Yamaha, and Suzuki were born around Lake Hamana in the western part of Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. We named our company “Hamana” with the hope of connecting Japan with the rest of the world, just as these companies which are still active in the world today.

[ Biography ]
Kazuya Kuihara joined ITOCHU Corporation in 2007. For 10 years, he was engaged in business development and investment in the financial business and business management in the food business. After leaving ITOCHU in 2017,he joined start-up business in KDDI and others. In 2021, he moved to the U.S. and founded Hamana Trading Inc. in 2022. He is from Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. He earned a Bachelor of Economics from Nagoya University.
